Getting Started

Finding a therapist that fits can be difficult. You’ve taken the first step, by reaching out to work on your life and your relationships. This process begins with a free 15-minute consultation call, where we seek connections with each other. You can share some of your story while learning about my approach to working with clients, as well as opportunities to ask questions. If I am not able to meet your needs or expectations, I can provide alternative referrals for you to explore.

What Should You Expect?

Should you decide to move forward together, you will receive access to my therapy participant portal (SimplePractice). The SimplePractice portal allows you to review practice policies, answer questions about yourself, and submit your insurance information for verification of benefits. Upon completion, we schedule our first session together.

During our first session, I’ll get to know a little about you and what brings you to therapy. We will discuss what you hope to gain from the therapy process, and set goals for our work together. As therapy progresses, you will have opportunities to provide feedback on how the process is going, explore any changes you want to make and identify where you see success in our work.

Therapy is self-care and I encourage you to invest in yourself. I hope to offer you a space that promotes growth, healing and resiliency. Allows you to build stronger connections and relationships, discover your strengths, and find out how to use those strengths to meet life’s challenges in a healthy way.

Invest in yourself! Give yourself permission to build stronger connections, discover your strengths, and how best to use those strengths through life’s joys and challenges. Be the author of your story!

I hope to offer you a space that promotes hope and healing through better relationships, improved confidence, and emotional resilience.
